Prof. Dr. Kasım TURGUT
Chief PhysicianProf. Dr. Kasım Turgut was born in 1983 in Adıyaman. He completed his primary and secondary education in Adıyaman. In 2010, he graduated from Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, English Medical Program. Between 2010 and 2012, he worked as a physician at Adıyaman State Hospital. From 2012 to 2016, he served as a research assistant in the Department of Emergency Medicine at İnönü University Faculty of Medicine. In 2016, he began working as a Specialist Physician in Emergency Medicine at Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital.
Continuing his academic work throughout his specialty training, Kasım Turgut was awarded the title of Assoc. Prof. by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in November 2020. As of February 2021, he was appointed as an Associate Professor and continued his academic work at the same university. Between 2020 and 2023, he served as the administrative head of the Emergency Medicine Clinic at Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital. Having previously served as Deputy Chief Physician at the institution, Kasım Turgut was appointed as Chief Physician of Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital as of 03 December 2024.
Chief Physician Turgut is married and has three children.
