Antenatal Education Class

Our objective is to provide higher quality and safer healthcare for mother and baby during pregnancy and childbirth, and to consciously prepare expectant mothers for birth and postpartum, contributing to the formation of healthy generations.

In our antenatal education class, under the responsibility of a Specialist Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology, education and counseling services are provided to expectant mothers and their relatives regarding the pre- and postnatal period, with the support of the responsible midwife, physiotherapist, psychologist, dentist, and dietitian.

Our Trainings Include:

  • Reproductive organs and development

  • Signs indicating the onset of labor

  • Methods for coping with pain

  • Postpartum period characteristics

  • Newborn bathing and safety

  • Nutrition during breastfeeding

  • Weight gain during pregnancy

  • Importance of dental health in pregnancy

  • Conception and early pregnancy

  • Changes occurring during pregnancy

  • Common disorders during pregnancy

  • Natural childbirth

  • Breathing exercises

  • Labor positions

  • Preparing the birth bag

  • Introduction to the delivery room

  • Postnatal care and orientation

  • Nutrition during pregnancy and postpartum

  • Family planning and methods

  • Newborn characteristics and care

  • Importance of breast milk and breastfeeding techniques

  • Pregnancy exercises

Our trainings are provided on weekdays from 09:00–12:00 and 13:30–16:00.
