Physical Therapy Unit

Our Physical Therapy Unit provides services on the 1st floor of B Block, Obstetrics and Pediatrics Service Building.

Physical Therapy

The objective of physical therapy can be summarized as treating functional deficiencies and painful conditions related to the musculoskeletal system using superficial heating and cooling agents, deep heating agents, electrical currents, radiation or devices generating magnetic fields, traction and manual therapy methods, and exercises; minimizing functional loss; and optimizing the patient’s adaptation to daily life.

Some of the conditions accepted and effectively treated in our Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center include:

Neurological diseases, strokes, cerebral palsy, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar disc herniations (discopathies), degenerative diseases of the spine and other joints (osteoarthritis), painful conditions associated with muscle-origin spasms (myofascial pain), cervicogenic headaches, postural disorders and related neck, back, and lumbar pain, congenital or acquired spinal deformities (kyphosis-scoliosis), orthopedic problems and post-operative functional impairments, shoulder and periarticular joint disorders, movement limitations and pain due to sports injuries, disorders of the elbow, wrist, hand joints and soft tissues, hip pain, knee pain, ankle and foot pain, treatment and rehabilitation of rheumatic diseases with pain, swelling, and restricted movement in joints, patients at risk for osteoporosis or with established osteoporosis, facial paralysis, trigeminal neuralgia, temporomandibular joint pain and functional disorders, and similar conditions.



The treatments planned by our Specialist Physicians in the Physical Therapy Unit are successfully implemented by our physiotherapists and FTR technicians using the most advanced devices.

Our unit provides services on weekdays between 08:00 and 16:00 by appointment.
