CARDİOVASCULAR SURGERY
A wide spectrum of adult cardiac surgeries is performed in our hospital using the most novel methods. Our CVS department has achieved a success rate of almost 100%, as evidenced by mortality and infection rates below the global average rates. Technical equipment which can interfere with patients are present in laminar air flow operating rooms with 2 heart-lung machines, cell saver and intra-aortic balloon pump devices. More than 600 adult cardiac surgeries and invasive cardiac are carried out every year.
Our cardiovascular surgery service is operational with 2 assistant professors, 4 surgeons and 1 research assistant doctor. We have a cardiovascular surgery intensive care unit with 7 beds, 1 cardiovascular surgery inpatient service with 16 bed capacity in total.24 hours service is available in the operating room and intensive care unit for all heart surgeries.
Medical examinations and angiography images of the patients with a decision for operation are evaluated by our specialists and information is provided about medical procedures.
