Orthopedics is the line of surgery and treatment involving the musculoskeletal system, and deals with degenerative conditions, trauma, sports injury, tumors, and congenital issues. All types of orthopedic diseases as well as skeletal/muscular system injuries are treated in our department.
 
Our Orthopaedics and Traumatology Clinic provides healthcare services with 1 associate professor,1 assistant professor, 6 specialist doctors and 7 assistant doctors. Our Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic‘s own ward has 39 inpatient beds  on the 3rd floor of the main building. The rooms are with single or double occupancy. Each room is equipped with telephone, WC, bathroom, TV and air conditioning. Patients in need of intensive care unit aare hospitalized in reanimation intensive care unit for multidisciplinary treatment. 2 operating rooms of our clinic can offer service all days of the week. Our Orthopaedics and Traumatology Clinic carries out about 5.500 operations each year.   With its specialists and physician assistants, our outpatient clinic provides service to approximately 300 patients per day.

  • Joint replacement surgery (total and local –knee, hip, humerus and ankle prosthesis)
  • Tendon and muscle injuries
  • Arthroscopic operations (anterior cruciate ligament, posterior cruciate ligaments, meniscal tears, shoulder arthroscopy, ankle arthroscopy)
  • Musculoskeletal trauma and fracture surgery
  • Fractures
  • Bone deformities, Bone infections, Bone tumors
  • Paediatric orthopaedics (hip dislocation, congenital pes equinovarus)
  • Foot and ankle disorders (arthroplasty, arthroscopy, osteotomies, Hallux)
